Technical Expertise — Road Condition Assessment
Our services cover the complete technical expertise of road infrastructure through non-destructive investigations and in-situ testing, determining bearing capacity, safety level and pavement degradation. Analyses are performed in accordance with the applicable standards, using specialized equipment:
- Primax 3500 — dynamic deflectometer (FWD – Falling Weight Deflectometer / HWD – Heavy Weight Deflectometer) for assessing road bearing capacity; provides fast and accurate determination of the structural behavior of pavements under dynamic loading
- MK2 Grip Tester — measures the friction coefficient of the road surface under controlled conditions, providing essential data on skid resistance and traffic safety
- Hawkeye 1000 — road condition monitoring and assessment system; collects data on surface degradation, pavement evenness and the evolution of defects over time, supporting maintenance and rehabilitation decisions
By correlating the results of dynamic measurements, grip testing and visual monitoring, we deliver a complete and objective assessment of road infrastructure, supporting the design, maintenance and modernization of road networks.
ISC Authorization and Legal Framework
The laboratory is authorized by the State Inspectorate for Construction (ISC) and performs tests in accordance with Law no. 10/1995 on quality in construction, republished. All testing procedures comply with applicable standards and ensure full traceability of results.
